Privacy Policy

Talligo collects only the data needed to surface price drops, track concessions, and help renters negotiate better leases. We do not sell your personal information, and we minimize what we store. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to reach us with questions.

Data we collect

When you create an account we store your email address and authentication credentials via Firebase. When you save a listing or configure a price alert we store the listing reference and your target price. We log anonymized usage events (pages viewed, filters applied) to improve the product — never keystrokes, never contact lists, never browsing history from other sites.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in and a small set of preference cookies (theme, last-used filters). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site ad trackers. You can clear these at any time from your browser.

Error monitoring & product analytics

To keep Talligo reliable and easy to use, we use two privacy-conscious tools. For error monitoring we use Sentry, which records the technical details of a crash (the error and the page it happened on) so we can fix it. For product analytics we use PostHog to understand aggregate usage — which features are used and where people get stuck. In both, the only identifiers we attach are your account ID and email; we do not send your IP address, keystrokes, passwords, or payment details, and session replay is turned off by default. When it is enabled it masks all text and input fields and blocks payment frames, so typed content is never captured.

Emails you can control

We may send occasional proactive emails — for example, a reminder if you started a Pro upgrade but didn't finish, or a heads-up if you hit an error — to help you get value from Talligo. Every one of these includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and opting out is honored immediately and permanently.
